Babuji Ek Ticket Bambai Movie Full Story
A senior theatre artiste and writer from Bhopal on Thursday accused the makers of the upcoming Bollywood film Babuji Ek Ticket Bambai of not giving credit to him.
for his script and warned of legal action if his grievance was not addressed Nazeer Qureshi said the film was based on one of his stories with the same title published in a newspaper in 1990s.
The story was about the girl dancers of the Bediya community of Bundelkhand region. The then good friend Arvind Tripathi, also from Bhopal insisted on making a film on the subject and I agreed.
I completed the entire screenplay and dialgues of the film. Meanwhile Arvind was busy searching for a producer The search ended with KK Mundhada and the film went on floor.
After the shooting I was hinted about some changes in the script and the entire credit being given to someone else. I confronted Arvind on the same. When we were promoting the film
the posters had my name. This was four-five months back. Recently the production house released the trailer but it did not have my name. I tried contacting the team but they haven’t responded till date said Qureshi.
The film, produced under the banner of Harikripa Films features Rajpal Yadav Bharti Sharma Sudha Chandran, Yashpal Sharma Milind Gunaji Raghuveer Yadav Rakesh Bedi and Ehsaan Khan in lead roles. The current film poster displays the name of Masud Mirza as its writer.
